CHALLENGE: Fifth Third planned an ambitious branch roll-out program to last for multiple years to gain market saturation from the midwest throughout the southeastern United States. Their interest is in maintaining a brand identity and economical branch units to best allocate capital spending in their self-owned and financed expansion.

SOLUTION: K4 developed an entire team of design and construction professionals to assist the bank in this ambitious program that resulted in K4 designing, building, and/or managing over 800 branch projects over a ten year period. K4 assisted in developing prototype variants for regional as well as urban markets, and developed entire processes for site investigation issues, prototype management, and integration of design and build to facilitate speed to market.
