CHALLENGE: As part of Fifth Third Bank's growth plan throughout the midwest and southeastern United States, the bank coordinated with regional and national grocers to obtain lease space within large stores for a new "in store" banking concept that Fifth Third Bank coined as "Bankmarts."
SOLUTION: K4 developed a new concept for Fifth Third requiring a whole new approach to branch banking. While minimizing the basic components into a smaller floor plate, we successfully maintained brand and effectiveness. Similarly, a different approach to construction was developed to coordinate the tight schedule as established by the landlord, coordinate the same components as required in a full branch, and realize a profitable project for the bank.
