CHALLENGE: The developer acquired a 19th century Romanesque-style high school building, previously known as Walnut Hills High School. The developer's commitment to the transitional historic neighborhood prompted the city and state to assist in the overall redevelopment of this keystone property.

SOLUTION: K4 assisted the developer and the design architect in developing a strategy and construction documents to realize the adaptive re-use project into the fully amenitized, 5-story condominium development. The unique structure and damage from exposure posed many challenges to the team throughout the process, but the highly successful project was a testament to the team's perseverance.
