CHALLENGE: Developer's were solicited by the City of Loveland to put together a land use and master plan for a strategic piece of property at the heart of their unique historic and growing community. The program included the accommodation of the Little Miami River, a collection of properties, the historic city center, a rail line, an existing community park and a regionally renowned bicycle path that is the hub of a 50 plus mile long system.

SOLUTION: K4 worked with a developer to create a design that accommodated all the different unique challenges to the site with a transitional design within the historic context of the city. The design focused on recentering and strengthening the small city's core and included retail, office as well as residential components to this new urbanist scheme.
